These alliances might be with government entities, whose interests are aligned with the new business, or local players in related industries. Our network of contacts in business and government allows us to forge strong and creative relationships to best position our clients in the marketplace.
For example, we worked with a company that wanted to introduce a new business model in China in an area that is subject to government regulation and scrutiny. We started by finding a local partner with an excellent record of working with the government. We then gained government approvals for the new market entrant and helped negotiate agreements with government regulators and local entities to enlist their cooperation. Our team also helped raise money for the company and served on the board of directors, promoting collaboration among the parties involved.
