Our professionals work with established international companies and young entrepreneurial ventures to set up new entities in China. In helping these firms get started, we assist with market evaluation, strategic alliances, capital raising and business development. We carefully review the current market conditions as well as the regulatory structure and political environment, and use this information to create entry and positioning strategies.

To maximize the potential for success, wherever possible, we arrange strategic alliances with appropriate parties that can facilitate the development of the new business in China. These alliances might be with government entities, whose interests are aligned with the new business, or local players in related industries. Our network of contacts in business and government allows us to forge strong and creative relationships to best position our clients in the marketplace.

For example, we worked with a company that wanted to introduce a new business model in China in an area that is subject to government regulation and scrutiny. We started by finding a local partner with an excellent record of working with the government. We then gained government approvals for the new market entrant and helped negotiate agreements with government regulators and local entities to enlist their cooperation. Our team also helped raise money for the company and served on the board of directors, promoting collaboration among the parties involved.
